Necessary to cool male for breeding?

My male killer bee is 600g so when he is not in a cooled 41q tub with one of my big normal girls I was planning on putting him back in his non cooled 15q tubs. Will this cause a problem with him breeding? My 15q tubs are warmer because I have hatchlings in there too. Any suggestions?

I have had several locks this season and all I did was open my window and let the ambient temp naturally drop. I don't touch the thermostat. This is my 1st season breeding BP's and so far it seems to be working.

I'm just concerned about moving him from cold to hot cold to hot when I give him a break from breeding.

    Necessary? NO
Do many people do it? Sure.
Do I worry about it? NO!
Others can do it all they want. It hasn't proven to me to be beneficial at all, or that not cooling the males or females has had any hampering of breeding.
Lots of BPs, and still not enough!

The thing is he's not asking about lowering temps but moving the snakes to warmer tubs when he's not with a female .
I can't help with that, because i never tried it so don't know if it can cause any breeding trouble for him or not.

I wouldn't bounce him between them. I could see a Ri starting from constant temp changes.
How much cooler than his tub?

I agree. Bouncing his temps around is just going to cause him unneeded stress and possible sickness.

As for cooling, it's personal preference. We don't do it here, but know many who do
