Need Opinions..
I saw this snake being sold as a femal pastel for $150. I showed a picture to someone else and they said it could be something more than just pastel. She is in shed right now but she is quite different. Should I purchase her? And any ideas as to what could be involved there? She is 250 grams. Thank you.

Well one breeder said he thought he saw yellowbelly. I have a very difficult time spotting that gene though.

No yb, if by some reason there has to be yb that would be a poor example of it. Anyways I agree, just a pastel

I don't know why someone else thinks there might be another gene in there unless they are just use to seeing bad quality pastels, which the market is flooded with these days. That snake is just a pastel. Not the best pastel, but not a bad quality either. It's above average I'd say. It's young and it already has a very prominent brown-out line which means it will get darker. It does have some very nice blushing though. Just not yellow enough. It's mostly orange colored which is what gets darker with pastels.
There are different lines of pastels. Some have that type of pattern which is more blushed. Some have a solid black pattern with a more yellow body coloration like the true NERD lemon pastels. They all look different and the looks can be changed, improved, or worsened by selective breeding.

If nothing ever changed, there would be no butterflies.

Decent looking pastel. I like the pattern. I think it's definitely worth the $150, but would need more pics to determine if something else is going on with the genes. From what I can see, only a pastel.
