    Hides from reptile basics

So my ball python seems to have outgrown her small hides from reptile basics: http://www.reptilebasics.com/small-hide-box

She can't seem to get herself inside them without one corner popping up from her trying to squeeze herself in there. Yesterday I caught her with her hide sitting on top of her back like a turtle ha.

I have the next size up hides from reptile basics ready to go, which are the medium hides: http://www.reptilebasics.com/medium-hide-box

However these hides seem to be a bit too big for her. They are kind of a big jump in size from the small hides to these medium hides, and these don't seem to hug her body the way the small hides did before she outgrew them. I would like to keep using the reptile basic hides because she seems to really like these; she has been an amazing eater since I have gotten her and has not skipped a single meal. But these medium hides just seem so big.

Those of you who use the hides from reptile basics, did any of you run into this issue? Do you think the medium sized hides are ok for her? I weighed her yesterday and she was about 260 grams.

I actually thought of taping her small hide onto the inside of her medium hide as a way to make it smaller, and this actually seemed to create the perfect sized hide for her; she seems to fit nice and snug in her medium hide now after i did this. Do you guys think this is a good idea?

Thanks in advance for your help! I really want to do my best to make her feel secure and happy
