    Housing question

I'm looking at purchasing an Animal Plastics T8 enclosure, but had a quick question. Using the divider to seperate the cage 50/50, can I house 2 adult balls? Right now I have a 424g but will be getting another ball soon and wanted to know if the T8 will comfortably house two adults. Thanks for your input.

Yes the T8 can house 2 adult BP's when using the divider. (I house all of my BP's in T8's)

Just a note: when using the divider if you order the cage with the white fluorescent light, you have to get 2 of them

Remember divided cages cannot be counted as quarantine a new addition should be quarantined in a separate location for at least 3 months and many say 6 or longer.

    Re: Housing question

Thank you both for your responses. I do plan to quarantine in the enclosure I currently have for my ball. Aaron, I checked out the thread that you posted on AP cages and had a question about the thermostat probe. I noticed on the pics that there is a cut out for the probe on one side of the enclosure, but if I'm going to divide it in half is there a cutout slot for the probe in the middle? I couldn't tell from the pictures. If not, is it something I can tell AP to put in? Thanks for your help.

All you have to do is ask AP to put a thermostat probe slot in the middle for use with the pop in/out divider. They will do this for free.

I am also thinking about purchasing the T8 model from Animal Plastic. I'm curious, what do you guys use for stand? I don't really want to put this thing directly on the floor.

I use the 8" stand that Ap sells, but those only really work if you have a stack of cages.

For 1 or 2 cages I would recommend using a plastic table with folding legs like this one: http://www.officemax.com/office-furn...i_sku=20055164

Yeah, I would like to stack them up on a stand. By any chance do you have a picture? I can't find a picture of t8 stand using google.

    This picture shows the AP 8" stand, a T12 (48" x 24" x 24") and a T8 stacked
