    Reptile basic hatchling racks

    Are the RBI hatchling racks big enought for a hatchling ball python they are only 12" x 3" x 3" what is your opinion?

    They're called hatchling racks for a reason :p. Should be fine till a few hundred grams.

    I personally have a v18 rack, bps are good in those from hatchling to ~600grams.

    I understand why they are called hatchling rackd but I didnt knoe if it was for like Colubrids hatchling on the RP web sure it says not recommended for ball pythons outer boas I just wanted yup see if anyone uses thats track for their BP's

    Ive seen it used for hoggies. Bps would be pretty tight but maybe....

    The one that is 12x3x2 is not for ball pythons-taken right from the site-NOT RECOMMENDED FOR BALL PYTHONS OR BOA CONSTRICTORS.
    it is mainly used for colubrids you want to look at the shoe box rack for ball pythons

    I believe the Iris Shoe Box rack that RBI sells for hatchlings CAN be used for BPs. They sell another rack called the Interdesign and that rack says in the description that it is not to be used for BPs or Boas. The tub dimensions for the Iris rack are 8" x 13 1/8" x 4" approx 5.4 qts.
