Possible trade...do you think its worth it?

I am getting out of crested geckos and put my female flame super dalmatian up on reptilecanadas classified section.

I got an offer for her, a trade. For a breeding size male spider and a 800g female normal poss het pied.

Do you think its worth it?

I bought the gecko for $30 and the tank for $10.... But shes worth about $200-$250 now but no one is giving me cash offers.

I mean even if I dont need them I can still flip them and sell them. Its easier to sell BP's in my city then geckos.

But then again... I do have a Male pied that I can try to prove out the female when she is ready and I have a female pastel thats nearly ready that I can pair with the spider.

    Whatchas think?

If you've got use for them, then I don't see why it wouldn't be a bad trade for you.

Just make sure that this ph pied is actually female. The future potential of the spider and your pastel could outweigh whatever loss you might incur due to the trade.

    Thanks Kodieh,

Im not really losing much I mean I am getting what $200 worth of BPs for something I have put maybe $100.

So yah I am really considering it.

Yes I know shes WORTH 250 but I know I am not gunna get that for her. I think ima settle with the 2 new additions lol

Ask if the possible het has any visible railroad track belly markers on the lower end. If so, I'd be a bit more inclined to want her.

All the more reason, like I said the plans you've already made for them (at least the spider x pastel) are enough to really compensate the technical $50 loss.

Those 2 snakes are a much better deal than just the spider that's for sure. Female normals on their own on kijiii sometimes fetch 250 for 1 so I would go for it.

You have a male pied to try and prove out the possible het.
The spider would give you bee or cinabee options too.

It really depends on what you want to do? If the gecko doesnt fit you anymore then why not?

Just got an offer from someone else.

Wants to trade her for his normal 100% het albino breeding size female from NERDs high contrast line. He doesnt have papers for her though. This is what he said " Unfortunately I do not have papers, How ever I do not deal with people I dont trust. I got her from a friend of mine who is my breeder partner and he purchased her right from nerd"

followed by "im not a random tard on kijiji (canadian cregslist) making random replies to ads.I guarantee her 10000% and if she doesnt prove you can fall back on me 100%. I guarantee my animals."

I really dont trust anybody ever. but...

She IS breeding size tho and I was mainly looking for a breeding size female for trade for my gecko.

I have a male cinnamon that I will be able to breed to her so if she is 100% het what does that mean for the babies? are they 50% het or 66% or 100% het for albino cinnamon?

I have a female albino allready but shes still small... so if the cinnamon are het for albino I could make albino cinnys for her first clutch.
