Swelling near vent..constipated??
Ok my bp has not dropped a single deuce since I got him....the first couple weeks I was feeding a prey size that was definitely too small so I figured he was absorbing it.....anyway to make a long story short I've had him for a while an he hasn't pooed.....I've fed him two (or three?) times since he shed last and nothing....well today I got him out and he undoubtedly has a bump (swelling?) near the vent....I'm giving him a bath but what else should I do? Oh and also is this just constipation or?

If it's just a sausage butt (sometimes snakes hold their poop until their vent area and a bit before that starts to look rounded) then he'll go when he needs to.. Can you post pics?

Sounds like sausage butt. He should poop for you soon. There's nothing you need to do about it. You can soak him if you want but he'll probably poop in the water. I bet he'll poop within the next 48 hours or so, maybe sooner.

My pastel girl held it once for 3-4 months. They get some serious sausage butt, you could try to "massage" it out, but they generally go when they have to or feel like it. If you're really worried about constipation I'd just make sure that he's got water available and the humidity is in the ideal range.

Ditto above. Be advised: it's not wise to handle snakes with sausage butt. Especially if you're wearing nice clothes Consider the animal armed and loaded.
Edit: the bath is a good way to "disarm" a loaded snake. Just please sterilize the tub before anyone else uses it.
