If you stayed with the same provider, they will sometimes credit you for paid apps so you can repurchase them on the new phone. Need to ask them, though. If you changed providers (AT&T to Verizon, for example), then you're SOL.

I changed providers, from T-Mobile to Sprint and did not have to pay a second time.
Sent from my EVO Design using Tapatalk 2.

Re: Questions abotu tapatalk
I am still with Verizon however I switched from the IOS phone to the Android. Uses different marketplaces. One uses Google Play the other uses I tunes store or something. I also had the app installed from way back when, when the app was free. Just dont want to pay for an app I already had Especially when there was so many issues with the app on my Iphone.

Send them an email, they may (or may not) send you an activation key since you did already pay. It's worth a shot at any rate.

That's the thing. He didn't already pay so why would they send him an activation key.
You've been using it and it obviously means something to you, so pay for it once to support the future development of the app.

I would pay but there are two issues.
1. The problem with it not allowing me to log in has been around since the app started. Ive lodged several complaints and its never been fixed.
2. Now they want you to pay for different color schemes? No thanks seems like every other programmer. Only focused on money and not the improvement of the app.

I went by this.
But yeah, if the OP didn't actually buy/pay for it then that's a different story. Tapatalk is a great app and well worth paying for

If you can't log in, how do you post?
I'm not really concerned with color schemes but if it matters to you and the app does not work well for you, I suggest you don't use it. You can read the forum on your phone's browser.

Thats what im saying. It would not let me log in to post for like days then all the sudden it would work again. A few days later it was down again. And dont care about the colors just seems the programmers are more worried about collecting $$ than improving the app.
