    Is my rat too big?

My BP refuses to eat, this is the same rat for 2 weeks now, before he would eat within 5 minutes.

I'm wondering if the rat is too big for him because he will look at the rat, or get close to it and when the rat sniffs him he will flinch back, or the time before he peaked out looked at the rat (only when I was trying to remove the rat and it squealed did he pay attention to it)

When the rat is in with him it looks a little bigger than his girth, may just be rat fur?

Based on the pics I wouldn't say the rat is too big. How much does the snake weigh and what size rat did you buy?

How long have you had the snake? What size do you normally feed him? If you just got him, what did the previous owner feed him and how often?

Tis the season for balls going off feed. I wouldn't jump right to that assumption but it is a thought...

Size looks about right to me too. He's at a great weight, so he might just be deciding it's that time of year for him to not eat. He's at a great weight, like I said, so you don't have much to worry about quite yet.

I'd probably be feeding it larger rats if anything....he's just not eating, it's normal.
