My hatchling BP has something weird with her eye. I've never seen it before...

Hello everyone. I'm a little perplexed about one of my hatchling ball pythons. She came out smaller than the others and one of her eyes is a little... funny looking. I noticed it the day I took her out of the incubator. When you look at her eye straight on it looks normal but when you look at it from above it's completely clear. Her other eye doesn't look like this and none of my other BP's eyes look like this either.

I'm not really sure if I should be concerned or not and I was wondering if anyone has seen anything like this? Is she blind in that eye? If she is blind in that eye will this hinder her eating habits and behavior?

I have attached pictures. I actually took snap shots of a video I was taking of her and when the light from the camera hits her weird eye it makes it glow! I couldn't get her other eye to do it! Really bizarre.

If pictures without the flash would help I'd be more than happy to supply them.

I would recommend pics without flash because the flash can emphasize by reflecting on that spot

Shoot, I should have checked my phone before posting this. Looks like it getting the eye without the flash didnt work out so well. It's to blurry too tell.

Question about the forum would it be better if I deleted this post and post again when I have better photos? Or should I keep this up and add the photos later. I wont be able to get another photo until around 4:00pm .

    I'm thinking it's a blocked lacrimal duct?

Check inside the roof of his mouth and see if you can see anything amiss.

Thank you for the suggestion! I'll take a look as soon as I get home. She won't like me for a little while but she'll get over it.
