Have no idea what's going on here

Bought a male Super Duper Pastel direct from Mark Mandic a few years back, got him to size, and bred him to a very nice Super pastel
she only laid a small clutch (4 eggs) - Hatched 3.1 Dupers, i kept a pair, and sold the other two males

all 3 males were consistant in colour, but the female was always brighter/more colourful right from hatching (bottom right hand animal)

(apologies for the badly washed-out pic)

Here's the male that i held back (not sure which one he is in the above pic)

    Now - Here's what's got me stumped...

This is the female from the 1st pic, BEFORE she started doing her 'thing' (these two pics were taken approx 3 months ago)

And here she is as of today - Slight difference huh!! - This is the SAME animal, but approx 3 months (and 2 sheds) older

About a month ago, i noticed she has small white random patches appearing everywhere (approx 5-15 white scales in each), but simply put it down to a shedding issue
but the white patches continued to get larger, and are now litterally taking over most of her body (she has shed again since i first saw the white appearing)

And here's a pic of the same holdback male (pic 2 in the 1st post) next to a decent FireFly (just to show how bright the animals from this clutch were)

SIDE NOTE - ALL 3 MALES are still of consistant colour, with no white appearing anywhere - It's only this female

As said, i'm stumped - Your thoughts please

Your male holdback is the male in the top right corner of the group pic. It looks like your female may be going through that strange color loss that people have termed "IMG". The term is wrong as it isn't increasing in melanin, it is actually losing it.
Stunning ball pythons though. I need to add a duper pastel to our collection.

Re: Have no idea what's going on here

Here she is again, a mere 6 weeks on from the last pics

And a comparison shot, with the same clutch sib (brother) from previous posts
(bearing in mind, that she was always far brighter/yellower than him until recently)
