multiple male question
I'm running my Mojave male and my pinstripe males to my spider female. I offer food on Fridays so sat, Sun, and mon my Mojave is in with her and tues, wed, thur my pinstripe is in with her. The boys get 4 days off each. So heres my question... Does anyone give the girls any time off?
Another question. My Dec 2010 pastel girl is 1400 grams empty. Wasn't expecting her to make weight this year. She was only 1000g in Oct should I wait and try later in the season or go ahead and start pairing her now?

My males and females do get breaks. My females get breaks when the males are breeding other females. Not only that I don't pair a female with the same male more than 2-3 in a month. So my Pastel female will see some males at the beginning, maybe the middle, and at the end of the month.

I do 3 days on 3 days off for both sexes. Also for your pastel girl you can put a male on her to try to get in breeding mode to put on that 100+ grams quickly.

i have bred snakes at 1200 grams that are slow growers and they do fine so a good feeder at 1400 is gonna be no problem. here's what i would do even if it upsets the feeding schedule. But, it wont. Mon-Wed with first male. feed on Friday and that gives them Thurs-sun to rest. then the next week on Monday introduce the 2nd male and then repeat that process. (=

Be careful putting them together right after feeding. I had a female throw up her rat from all the moving around and the male sitting on her, etc.

I feed the day after I take the male out so they digest for a few days before seeing a male.
Like someone else said, there is no reason to pair a female more than once a week. She really doesn't need more than 2-3 pairs a month.
1400 grams and 2 years old is more than fine to start pairing. We pair at 1200 grams with good body condition
Good luck!
