so i'm having a little shedding problem with both of my snake. Snake no.1 the bumblebee I had for about 2 weeks. Ate fine for me and just had a shed 2 days ago. THe shed is more or less perfect except for the tip of the tail that seems to be stuck. Snake no.2 the butter pastel I just receive yesterday. She came with stuck shed around the neck and what appears to be stuck eye cap, the breeder was having a little humidity issue prior to getting her to me, other than the stuck shed she seems perfectly healthy.
Now I did a little research and the general suggestion for stuck shed is to bath them and use warm towel. Question is what would be the harm if i just let them be and raise the humidity next time they shed? I feel like giving them a soak would stress them way more than it help, especailly for the butter pastel that just went on a 4 hr plane ride. But I have also read that stuck shed on the tail tip could cost blood to not flow there causing the tip to die off.
I would much rather just leaving them along and let them do their things but is that a good idea? would i regret this when next shed comes around they have a layers of stuck shed instead of just one layer right now?
