    I need you guys' opinions/advice.

I have a 40 Gallon UTH that is under my tank on the hot side which, at present, it is 10:02 PM and the temp is 90.2F. I also have a 10 Gallon UTH. Can (or should) I put the 10 Gallon UTH somewhere on the tank?

What exactly is "on the tank"? You mean you have an extra ten gallon sized UTH? You really don't need it if the tank is warm enough without it.

No, I have a 40 Gallon Breeder with a 40 Gallon UTH under it. Can I or should I use the 10 gallon UTH in anyway, anywhere on the cage?

Check your temps. As long as the ambient is in the low 80s the basking area 90-95 you don't need to add anything to boost the temp. Remember to put your thermometer probes where the snake is not stuck on the glass half way up the side. Also be sure to have a thermostat on any uth. They can burn your pet if left unregulated.

I wouldn't think you would need the other uth if your temps are good. My first thought though, was how are you regulating that heat pad? Thermostat's are a must.
