Woo Hoo we belong to the 200 Gram club

Weigh in tonight before feeding.. Avalon weighs in at 201g ... Time for new hides, she's lifting them up when she gets completely inside them.. Might as well bump her up to a 20 gallon long tank as well.

Haha, my hides are dollar store bowls. So when they get too big for them the cruise around like turtles

    Congratulations on Avalon hitting 201g!!

And I got a kick out of both of you talking about hides being too small (particularly the comment about cruising around like turtles). I've found recently that my dollar store salad bowls need an upgrade to something slightly larger - precisely because of the whole turtle effect!

If it wasn't my daughter's snake I would go with a bowl of some kind, but you know how it goes, she wants it to look pretty too.. Can't blame her I guess, it's in her room..

20 long is pretty big for a 201 gram snake. bigger isn't better. I would hold off awhile on the tank. don't want to stress her.
