Not what we expected to come home with...

So we went to the Manassas show this past weekend, just looking for a nice Mojo or Pin, or maybe a Pastel or Spider. Mostly we were looking for a nice new girl to add to the collection. We were also on the look out, if we couldn't find those, for a boa for my girlfriend, who's been missing her old one a lot lately. The most I expected to walk out of there with was a nice normal Columbian girly. These were not exactly what I was thinking . . .

Maybe not was I expecting, but gorgeous nonetheless. My girlfriend did get her boa, a lovely motley het sharp girl. We gotta get some better pictures of her so you can see her sides, but here are a few.

And then I somehow managed to walk away with this Albino Red Blood boy. There was a guy there with his big Sumatran female and this little guy, and both were so calm and tolerant it blew me away. The big girl kinda hissed at my girlfriend at one point and this little boy finally flattened out and got mad at me after a two hour car trip and a lot of handling. He did very well, and for a person who's been nervous of bloods for a long time, it's a nice experience for me.

The boa's name is Wicca and the blood's name is Poncho, named so by one of the guy's selling reptile supplies xD

Just wanted to share with you guys :]

    Very nice, congrats!

Bloods have a bad rep that's hard to over come, I've even seen one that snapped at everything it could, but there are a lot out there that are pretty nice.

    Thank you!

I've handled the blood a bit more today and while he did take one snap at my girlfriend, he's been very nice. He tends to shove more than naything when he gets irritated. The boa of course has a lovely temperment, but she likes to be right in whatever you're doing xD

Nice looking motley! Shame its het sharp n not kahl. Lol just my preference. I had a couple black bloods but just a bit more snappy than what the family could deal with. I didn't mind but the wife and kids wouldn't even open the rack to check there water so they had to go nice additions tho congrats!
