What does the 0.1.1 mean in a signature?

I'm sure it has something to do with genetics, but I'm an idiot and can't figure it out.

1.0 equals male
0.1 equals female
0.0.1 means no idea
1.1 means one male and one female

I'm sure you can figure the combos out from there. Hope this helps.

First number is males, second number is female, third number is unsexed.

1.5.2 is one male, five females, two unsexed.
