    Making a rescue, advice please!

Alright so a friend of mine is moving and I volunteered to take her Leopard Gecko, what do I need to know?

Can one 5 inch male be put into a 12qt container?

Do the hides need to be very tight like a BP's would be, or do they like more room?

Just to be clear, I need 3 hides in total?

    Paper towel works fine?

Is there anything I'm missing that is crucial to know to care for the little guy?

I like 1 adult leopard gecko in the equivalent of a 10 gallon tank or larger. height doesn't really matter.

one hot side (UTH) and one "normal" side (I don't have a heat source on this side, but I'm in FL, so it doesn't get very cold, if you are in a colder climate you may need a light. 40W incandescent should be ok).

Hides shouldn't be super snug, they should be able to turn around/ lay out in them. 3 hides? I use 1 on either side and sometimes a humid hide, if you use a light you'll need a humid hide (tupperware with moist vermiculite/moss/something in it).

water dish, i use one about 2 inches in diameter and an inch deep.

Paper towels are just fine/great, but the crickets tend to hide under them.

Dust the food items with calcium powder (shake and bake).

    UV bulb is NOT NEEDED
