    is something wrong??

We got our first bp last sunday at a reptile show. he hatched on 8/12/2012. when we got him we were told that he was eating live rat pups and last night he ate his first thawed rat pup. today i went to go and check on him and i found that he had shed sometime either last night or this morning. i did not find any evidence of regurg. he lives in a 40g breeder size critter condo. i know it is big and we are adding more hides and decorations to cover up the open space. his hot spot stays around 89-92 with ambient temp of 81. i am just making sure that him eating then having a shed is ok. i didnt want to bother him today since he had his first meal after coming home last night, i wanted to check for eye caps....
humidity is around 60-70%. also should i use aspen or go with fir or cypress to help with humidity?
here is what his shed looked like

Everything seems to be in order.. They can eat and shed at the same time. No issues
