    Hi every1

    Hi every1 im new and got my first ball python today any hows he is arround 2ft long just now and my question is when i got him home in his tub every time i went near him in the tub to put him in his new viv he would strike at me is this because it is a new place and there are strange smells and surroundings and a new environment like i said i am new to ball pythons none of my other snakes were like this so im hoping he was just nervous and will be ok in a few days

    I would give him a week or two to settle in before trying to hold. Also make sure your husbandry is correct, this can cause stress as well.
