Is there an easy way to tell if a ball python is a boy or a girl without probing.
    Thanks,
    Damien

nope... well tail length is something you can look at but it is not certain at all. The only way to tell for sure is a probing by a professional. Popping the genitals can be very bad especially on a young snake so really the only certain way to tell is to have a vet probe. But you can guess based on tail length (though you probably won't be correct) hope this helps!!

Jonah is right because even my vet thought that Hissy was a male when he looked at her tale but then he probed her & found out that he was wrong, she is a she!
Life is like a game of poker. You can play each hand to the best of your ability but you are still going to run into a bad beat from time to time. What matters is how you handle it. Do you go on tilt or can you maintain your composure & rebuild your stack?

Ask them their size. A 6 foot long MALE ball python will tell you he's a "9". A 6 foot FEMALE ball python will tell you she's a "4".

If your BP ever gave you a look that asked, "Does this new skin make me look fat?", then you got a little girl on ur hands
