Keeping 2 baby Ball Pythons Together

Hi there,
I am new to keeping Ball Pythons but couldn't help but get my second.
We have a 5 month old F Albino and now just got a 5 month Pewter Bee M
Can i put them in the same tank?
I know i have to feed them separately but other then that will it be ok?

Do a search on here, there is plenty of information on the subject, seems people ask that question fairly regularly. Judging by your post, you already have them both which would likely mean they are together. I feel its not a good idea. As I said do a search there are some very indepth posts as to why not.

It's not a good idea. Males can breed around a year old, but females need closer to two years. He'll start pestering her and it'll stress them both out. If it does result in a successful clutch, you have a couple more snakes suddenly on your hands to take care of until you decide what to do with them. If you can't do two tanks, what will you do when you need five?

It's also harder to figure out how they're functioning. With two snakes, you can't always tell who pooped or shed, and worst case scenario: which one is sick. If one does get sick, they both will.

I'm not saying its forbidden, and a lot of people chime in that they keep snakes together and no one's died yet. But I'm personally not comfortable enough with my experience to take that risk.

Plus you can't properly quarantine when you toss a new addition in with an established animal. QT is a MUST: do a search on that too for proper QT procedures. It helps keep your snakes healthy and safe and wards against costly vet bills in case you bring in a new animal who becomes sick/came in sick.

Plus (IMO) cohabiting should only be done by those who are experienced and not new to snake/BP ownership.

I currently have them in separate tanks now and the new male is doing great! He ate 2 days after we got him and then the next day as he still looked hungry.
Thanks for your advice, will keep them seperate and do some more research.
