    New rat rack

Well I finally built my rat rack it turned out great. Next project watering system and incubator. Went from four breeder girls to twelve and five males and I have three litters now. Boy these rats don't play.

It looks great! My rack was a piece of poop. I ended up just making more tubs. They were only 8 bucks each and work better for me

What's size tubs are those and do you have chew out problems? Those look like they would make perfect grow outs for my set up

Limit the numbers per bin or rack and clean atleast once a week keeps the smell to pretty much nothing.

My rats are in a room connected to my bedroom. Can't really smell them until day 5 after a bedding change. Don't keep overcrowded tubs and it's all good. What do you feed and use as bedding

Vanilla extract in their water + baking soda under bedding works great for odor control. Plus the rats are on kiln dried pine and aspen.
