    My First Carpet

Today I went to a local reptile expo with the intention to only purchase supplies. We all know how that works though.

Here's my female 2012 Jungle Jag Sibling, Tequila. I'm really excited to have her in my collection and I'm sure she'll give me a run for my money many times in the years to come.

It was a necessary evil I had to do in preparation for the diamonds, but I find it to be acceptable evil.

Welcome to the real addiction, I swear carpets are going to be everywhere soon. I'm already thinking about getting a zebra male for my female JCP.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised one bit. Their patterns and coloration are fantastic and I find it very cool and interesting that it takes a few years for their true colors to start popping. It seems that if you're a breeder, you almost have to hold back your animals for a few years just in case an ugly duckling turns out to be amazing. Their attitude also amuses me to no end as well. I fully expect this girl to give me a run for my money on more than one occasion.

I'm still in the process of getting a basic understanding of what morphs there are for carpets, but the zebra looks outstanding in photos! The super zebra made my jaw hit the ground!

Read the complete carpet python it had them all. The super zebra is the reason I want a zebra male or possible a pair. And your right you need to hold on to some babies to make sure you do not sell the best one.

I have a couple of Carpets going this year. Within the next 2 years I should have some cool projects going.

Not only are some of the morphs cool but then you have all the pure bloodlines to work with as well.

I want The Compete Carpet book so bad.

    Congrats!

Carpets are pretty awesome. I just got my first 2 within the past 2 months. My little one can be a little nippy, but the older one is very laid back. Your little one will probably only give you a run for your money to start with and then will hopefully mellow out.
