I would say $200-300 is reasonable for a male. Their value doesn't really increase with age.
I would pass on him. He's not what I'm looking for in a butter.
Personally, I like reduced patterned and no dots with high contrast yellows.
But if you like him, go for it!

I'd pass on that one. Kind of a "blah" butter for my tastes, personally. That size, I'd like to see a lot brighter color and contrasts; he looks to be fairly muted as far as color. His pattern isn't bad but overall, I would take a pass if I were you. Any chance you could get a better picture of him in natural sunlight or a photo tent, maybe?
