    What are the chances?

A bp can break out an enclosure? Why do non snake owners assume this? Can they really do this?

I haven't had a snake break outta a tank I've properly latched, however I did forget to completely close my balls tank while I was feeding him and he ate quick snuck out and got into my 12 string guitar. Now I think that breaking out would be more with a rack system where the top of the tub isn't as close to the rack as necessary letting the ball squeeze out, balls can fit into stupidly small spaces when they want.

    Re: What are the chances?

If your cage is setup properly and secured with locks, the snake cannot and will not get out.

However, if you have cages that are haphazardly put together, or you forget to lock the cage, etc, etc, they can and do often escape.

I think there's a big difference between a proper snake enclosure (hinges and latches, some type of lock, etc.) and resting a screen lid on a glass tank under the assumption that a snake can't nose its way out. Of course, with any type of enclosure there's always room for human error.

Haha my big carpet girl has bungee cords around her tub cuz it's out on a table in my room and she can open it with ease if there not on there.
