    Liasis anyone?

    My bp Phoenix has some strange looking poo. The poo is slimy yellow with the white powder bones in it. Any help/advice on this issue would be greatly appericated. Thanks Matt

    I don't think that's poo. I think it is urates.

    Thats the first time I've ever heard of something like that personally wish I could help ya out man but i really don't know what to make of it I'll do some research and let ya know if I find anything. However you should bag the poop and take it to the Vet. See what they say. If you bag the poop but it in the fridge not the freezer.

    This is Matts wife and what is urates Im here by myself since Matt just left after he posted and I need to know what to do so I can tell Matt when he gets home later on tonight.

    Thanks smynx That helped out alot, that part of the poo is little clearer than in the pic. But it looks about right. She is going in for a checkup in a month or two. But I have always had good vet visits. Thanks agian.

    How long have you had Phoenix? How many times has he passed urates? And have you ever seen the normal brown poo?

    I have had her since November of 2003 and I have seen the brown poo several times. As far as urates Thelast two times she pooed and she poops once a week.
