    Hi,

One day (not in the near future) I may purchase another bp. I know you can have 2 in one cage, but what is the requirements for that cage?

It's never actually recommended to house two of any snake in the same enclosure. I know a few people on this site have made it work, and could probably help you out, but I've never tried it because it's so easy to go to the store, by a rubbermaid and a heating pad and vwalla! you got yourself another BP enclosure.

first off, you must quarantine the new one for at least 30 days. Giving you time to get it to the vet to make sure it won't infect your current bp with anything it has. I honestly wouldn't recomend putting the two together for the fact it coudl stress your current bp out. But depending on how old it is, its up to you. I would probably go with a pretty large enclosure. Maybe a 55 gallon? with 4 hides.

If one gets sick - you have two sick snakes. Enough of a reason for us to split apart even clutchmates.

Look on the Husbandry board. There's a "sticky" near the top of the board with a whole discussion about this issue.
