New Rosy Boa - shhh, it's an xmas surprise for my daughter

Here's our new Rosy Boa, she won't have a name until I "officially" give her to my daughter as an (early) present.
She's has wanted one for quite a while and she has no idea that she's getting this girl, can't wait to see the surprise on her face!!

She is one of the "normal" colors. . . The colors vary greatly depending on the region they're from, but other than albino and a few others I believe most of the orange/grey, salmon/grey, brown/tan etc. are naturally occurring. I was told this girl was from the Cottonwood region but after looking at all the different regions it appears she is more likely from Baja, possibly El Rosario and unfortunately the fellow at the show had some incorrect info. . .
We don't have any plans (at the moment) to breed Rosy boas, but it's amazing to see the variance in color depending on the region.

Thanks! They are really fun to handle, now I've got my eye on some of the darker ones possibly from Maricopa or Organpipe, also I saw a picture of a silvery/blue one labelled "Anery Borrego San Filipe Ghost" that looks AMAZING!

So how soon will she be getting it? I used to have a Rosy and a friend of mine used to have 20+ adults and bred them. Beautiful snakes and great snakes to work with!

We're going to surprise Sonia the weekend after next, we're giving our new addition a chance to get acclimated and have a few meals before then.
    Can't wait!!

That is a great idea! It will make sure that she can hold it every day once you give it to her instead of having her mess with it while it is still settling in. I definitely wouldn't have thought of that myself!
