    returning to snakes

    Hi, everyone.

It's been 6 years since I've owned a BP and with the white plains reptile expo coming up at the end of this month, I decided to make a come back. I want to do a couple of things different in setting up the enclosure. I want to get some advise on thermostats, thermometers and hygrometers, mainly.
For everything else I'm planning on doing the same as I did in the past.

I'm considering a Helix DBS 1000, I have an opportunity to get it for a good price. If not, then possibly a herpstat intro or a VE 100.
The reason why I want a good thermostat is incase I decide to expand to a few more snakes.

Then, for monitoring temp and humidity, I want a digital thermo/hygro with external probes. I remember how annoying it was to constantly re-stick the Fluker's unit to the tub because it kept falling off from the humidity. I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good thermo/hygro that can be mounted externally.

Aside from the technical stuff mentioned above, I plan to run the basics:

    sterlite container
    aspen substrate
    water dish
    2 hides
    felx watt

For cleaning, I was going to do the same as I did before, bleach, but I bet there are better alternatives.

Also, what are the thoughts on the Ranco ETC 111000 model?

    Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks.

I use Herpstats for my thermostats, and dilute bleach for deep cleaning.

It's worth the few extra bucks to get the VE-200 proportional thermostat.
