    Quick Q about pairing schedule

So when you guys pair up 3 days on 3 off or whatever you do, does feeding influence this schedule? Do you pair snakes the day after they eat? Wait 2 days?

I'd make a poll but I only need to see a few responses...

Re: Quick Q about pairing schedule

My three day on three day off schedule works out that I pair on Friday night through Sunday night\Monday morning (if locked when I check Sunday) and feed on Tuesday.

I tend to use a 3 day on, 4 day off. If they happen to get the deed done within the first day or two of pairing, I'll separate them early. As for feeding, I like to wait until all snakes have been separated and then feed.

I feed on any day of the week, no set schedule, so feeding doesn't really impede on my breeding.
I feed the day after I pull them from breeding, then give them a day or two or three off and then off they go to another female.

My breeding schedule is dependent on their actions.
I don't just leave a male in with a female that's not being receptive, especially if that male is breeding 2-3 or more females, and even more especially if the male is young and small.

The 3 days in 3 out is a guideline and not something that should be strictly adhered to imo.
