    What are you thankful for?

Seeing as it is soon Thanksgiving I was just wondering what all of you are most thankful for. I am thankful for family, friends, my health, my freedom, and my lovely animals.

Re: What are you thankful for?

I'm thankful for the good job I have. I'm 27 years old and for the very first time I have the funds and motivation to buy Christmas gifts for my loved ones. I thought this day would never come.

I'm thankful for my job (income rocks!), my boys, my beasts, and my husband who is somehow able to handle the fact that his wife is sprinkling reptiles all over the house

    I am thankful for
my family; knowing they are there for me helps me get through the day
friends; who doesn't need friends and you guys on here are some great friends
a decent job; I may hate it some days but it pays the bills and its not going anywhere
the troops past and present; fighting to defend my freedom and most don't even know me
the mother of my child; we may not be together but she is still a wonderful mother and good friend
I'm sure there is plenty more that should be on my list. I know I've already said it but I am thankful for everyone on here from the mods and admins to the newest member. You give me something to do to pass the time, give me a good laugh, and educate me. You all are great people. Can't wait to tear into some turkey!!!

I am thankful for God blessing me with:

    • Both my parents still kicking after threatening to die a few times in the last year.
    • My wife getting a job earlier this year.
    • Me getting a promotion at my job earlier this year.
    • Hitting some great breeding odds.
    • The people that have bought by snakes so far.
    • Buying our first house!
    • No more credit card debt!
    • A loving wife that puts up with me and my antics on a daily basis.
    • A mind to rhyme and two hype feet! Oh wait, that's MC Hammer. Nevermind.

Re: What are you thankful for?

My ex-husband had two heart attacks last week (at 35 years old) and survived. I'm thankful that my little girl didn't have to endure one of life's greatest tragedies at such a young age. I'm also thankful for the invaluable lesson about harboring ill will toward others.

Adversity does not build character, it reveals it
