Differences between locals?

Hey guys,
I am considering purchasing a GTP at an upcoming show and I was wondering what the differences between the locals are. I have seen some GTP's online that are blue. Is there a particular local that is known for that trait or would I just have to take a shot in the dark and hope that I get one that turns blue. Do certain localities have anything to do with temperament?
