    Question Ball Python Breeders

I was wanting to know if there are any ball python breeders out there that are willing to help a newbie get started into breeding.
Normals or morphs it doesn't matter. I'm just wanting to get started into this amazing world of genetics.

The best thing to do is hang out here for a while and learn. Also be sure to go to local shows and talk to breeders who are vending. There is a lot to learn and even those with tons of experience are still learning and discovering new things with genetics and how things work.

Not begging for anything nor free snakes. Just asking if there are any ball python breeders on here that can give deals on purchases of snakes to help me get a breeding project started. That's all i'm asking.

Every breeder I know will give discounts if you purchase multiples. Honestly your post seems fishy to me especially since it's your first post (red flag number 1). You also seem to have no idea/care for what you want to breed (red flag number 2). You say you are a newbie in your first post, but instead of posting questions about potential breeding projects, breeding in general or care you make a post asking for snakes (that's red flag number 3). That's 3 too many red flags for me, I wish you luck if you are sincere in wanting to breed. I recommend craigslist if you truly have no care for what you want to breed and are just looking for cheap snakes.

If you are going to seriously inquire about snakes for sale you should post your request in the proper section (http://ball-pythons.net/forums/forum...tion-or-Wanted) with a list of what you are looking for.

    1. I'm not a scam
    2. I don't want free snakes
    3. I've said normals or morphs it doesn't matter.
    4. I want to start with the cheaper morphs as in pastels, spiders, pinstripes, etc.
    5. I already own 6 ball pythons (1 vanilla, 2 pastels, 1 yellowbelly, 1 black pastel, and 1 normal.)
Only 2 are of breeding age. I'm just asking a simple question as to who has snakes for sale in which I can get into breeding.
I know how to care for snakes as I've worked in a pet store so no need in asking how to care for them.

knowing what area you are in would probably help out a lot to know if there is someone close to you.

I believe you meant scammer and point 1 and 2 are the same thing.

If you are going to breed you should have a plan and not just try to amass what is cheap. Breeding for quality is important if you want to sell anything you produce.

That's great that you already own some, but none of that was clear in any of your posts. You came off as someone who is looking to get some cheap snakes (as I said check craigslist).

As I stated in my previous post, you might want to actually research and ask questions before attempting to breed. There is a lot that goes into it and even after researching most still have questions.

Also 95% of the pet stores I have been in don't know nor care about proper care. May you worked at one of those super rare stores that knows what they are doing but without saying the store (I'm guessing it was either a chain store like Petco or Petsmart) I can only assume they are not given my personal experience with pet stores.

    I'm in Ocala, Fl.

And low cost morph doesn't mean it's a cheap low quality snake. Spiders, Pinstripes, pastels are not low quality.
I don't need to do research as my fiance's uncle use to be a big ball python and bearded dragon breeder in Florida back in the day.
The pet store I worked at was a private pet shop not petsmart or petco.
All my reptiles have the best quality care they need.
