Meet Ihysius! (With pics... methinks he might be a big dude...or fat)

So, now that I got Ihysius to eat a month after his brush with scale rot (prefers me to leave his f/t rat on the floor of his tub to snack on in the wee morning hours instead of off the tongs now but enh)---I figured it was time to get him out for some photos and to get him used to being handled again. Sweethearted dude though, never got so much as a hiss out of him even with injections.

(Apologizing off the bat---crappy cellphone and shakey hands due to disability...not the best)

He's just under two years old and 3.5 feet long---weighing in at about 1100 g and eating a medium rat every week. I brought him home in mid-august and since then he's put on a foot and about 350 grams in weight.
If anyone thinks he's looking a bit fat please tell me now so I can get him thinned out if necessary (also, if anyone could give me an adult size estimate---also much appreciated)

Hes probably about fully grown. Its kinda hard for bps to get fat so i wouldnt worry about that too much.

    Thanks guys!

When I first picked him up he was clean but given how quickly he put on weight and his spine used show more I figured he was being underfed a bit 'wait---he's how old and how big and you feed him hoppers twice a month? o.o'

Sure enough going by the 'big enough prey to see a bit of a bulge' and weekly feedings he chunked right out and grew like a weed^^

He looks great. Adult size can vary so much, its hard to really tell. But he looks like he's right about there.

I wouldn't worry about making him fat, especially with the infamous BP fasts that happen. They seem to know when they need to slow down on food intake. Very pretty boy!
