Feeding and....Odd Noises?
I've had my two month old Mojave ball python named Bagheera for about two weeks now and I haven't really gotten him on a strict feeding scheduled.
The breeder I got him from said he was on a one a week scheduled, but when I bought him, they hadn't fed him in two weeks to get them ready for the reptile show. That was on Saturday the 3rd. I fed him on Sunday the 4th then on Thursday 8th. He took the food readily and was more than happy to eat. It was kind of adorable. He pooped twice and is doing really well. Should I keep up a five day scheduled or get him back on a seven day? Just curious.
One other thing.
So little Bagheera likes to sleep in my hair. But he'll go up to my ear and make a little whistling noise. Um...is this normal? He doesn't wheeze or sneeze or anything else at all at any other times. Is this normal or do I just have a weird snake? Or maybe my hair tickles his nose...I have no idea you guys.
Any input would be super helpful!
Thanks!

5 day or 7 day doesn't really matter. Personally I start mine out on a 4 day then move them to an 8 day feeding schedule when they reach 500-600 grams.
As long as you don't see and mucus on the snake/ in the cage and there aren't any other signs of RI (do a search of the forum) You shouldn't have anything to worry about. What are the cage temperatures and humidity in your cage?

Generally I have kept mine to once a week (7-day schedule). So far I haven't had any issues and Elliot is growing quite well

Re: Feeding and....Odd Noises?
Okay! Sounds good :3 Thank you!
The temp is 90 at the hot side with an ambient temp of about 75. The humidity is around 35 and I mist when nessicary. There's no signs of mucus from his nose or mouth, no wheezing, nothing! He just whistles in my hair... Maybe he's allergic to me

Not sure on the noise but I just got an adult pinstripe that was fed once a month for a long time compared to my piebald that was fed every 7 days the pied is close to the same size as the 2 year old pinstripe.
My pied is healthy and in good shape the pinstipe is coming along since i put him on a better feeding schedule.

OK, then everything should be fine, though I would try to boost the humidity. 35% is pretty low. I like to keep mine at least 50%
