Too much humidity
I have my balls in a rack I built from a plastic shelving unit from Walmart and 28 qt sweater boxes. The problem is when my snakes spill their water on the paper towels it creates a lot of condensation on the tubs. I made more vent holes to control it but it still does it. I have my herpstat set on 90 and I check temps with heat gun the hot side stays around 87 to 90 and cool end is around 75 y'all have any suggestions maybe a different sub strata.

I would get new water dishes that don't tip over as easily.

Use heavier water bowls (ceramic dog bowls) so the can't spill. Or use smaller bowls, so even if they are spilled, it isn't a lot. Or just don't fill your current bowls all the way and just change it out daily so even if they did spill, it's not a big mess.
Using aspen will help with the moisture a little bit.

Sounds normal to me, I change them daily if I have to.

Yeah the humidity will do that, I sometimes make a tiny bit spill out if the humidity needs to go up a little. But just change it out everyday and ill be fine

If the paper needs changing daily then I do it, if not they get changed when they pee or poo or a rat makes a poo mess running around before getting whacked.
