Halo 4 - A Test In Masochism

So I got it a midnight Tuesday, came home and played till 3am. Had 6 hrs sleep then played some more, And I decided that I'd just start out on Legendary difficulty. So after hours of gameplay, I am still on the 2nd mission. LOL.

The MP servers were down almost all day so I didn't even get to try MP until the evening. And I like it better than reach so far.

Did anyone else take the day off to play it?

Will probably be picking it up later today or tmrw. My brother plays alot more video games than i do but im excited for Halo 4. Im trying to play Assassins Creed 3 right now. The game is fun but some parts just take soooooo longgggg and the combat isnt really that good imo. My brother loves it though lol. I think they should make a movie about it personally, the storyline is cool, i just cant stand to play it. I should like Halo alot better though. FPS's are definetly much more of my type of game, when i do play. How do you like it so far?

Well, so far I am enjoying it. But I am hardly through the beginning part of the story. I probably would have beat it already if I had put it on Normal. LOL. But I love the challenge.

A bunch of my buddies have been binging on it, it looks pretty cool tho! About 3 years ago I realized games like that I buy beat in a week and never end up playing anymore so I buy my one game every year (NHL) and buy College football every 3 years and call it good! Once my friends get tired of there's I just borrow it! I almost did break and buy Assassins Creed 3 looks pretty cool! I envy you for playing on Legendary ha ha I like winning too much I play on easy

There seems to be this "war" between Halo fans and COD fans. I don't understand it really. You can't really compare the two. Sure they are both FPS but COD is built on realism while Halo is Scifi. I prefer scifi and fantasy games over real life emulations. It's just a matter of taste. They are both good at what they do.

I agree. I like both!
I read all the Halo books a few years ago and the games follow them for the most part. (Or vice versa maybe?). So thats why i really enjoy the games. I like COD though too.
