Age could be a factor here. How old are they? They may just not have the hang of it yet.

How old are they? 1 month really is enough time to be concerned yet. And what is there cage? Temps?

Those conditions sound alright. Just give them some more time, theyre bound to produce eventually. Patience!

Re: rats not produceing
My colony took about 3 months until my first litter was born give them a little more time. Also if this is the moms first litter it may not go so well. Two of my moms had a hard time with their first litters. One only had 4 babies the other had 11 but non survived. Second go around was much better and now these moms are my best producers. Lucy's last litter was 20 all were healthy and survived to feeder size 60-100G So just give them a little more time they will do great for you I am sure

Re: rats not produceing
Grats soon you will have more rats than you know what to do with I would invest in a CO2 chamber and get it all set up I tried the dry ice method and hated it got a CO2 bottle and well easy as pie
