Just a normal? Need your opinions.

This guy hatched out in August 2012 and this one definitely has the brightest orange of all Ball pythons I ever hatched out. To me he looks very similar to the Orange Dream morph although he has just few flames on the sides. Some of the belly scales show a yellow/orange tint. I also added a picture of the father which has a very odd pattern on the right side and on the top of his head. Further his eyes look different to the eyes of normals. The mother is very pale colored, so I have no clue why the offspring has this deep orange appearance. I would be grateful for your opinions.

    Regards

Looks like just a nice reduced normal to me. The Sire is really cool looking and appears to be a black back. Since the hatchling seems to express the same characteristic (black back), that could be heritable. What did the other hatchlings look like?

Gorgeous snake, but just a normal in my opinion. I do love the reduced pattern and the black back, and my VPI axanthic and het VPI both have the mostly black back, which I am hoping is passed on in their offspring. Good looking little one!

IDK....He is pretty sweet though. If you hatch out any females with the same characteristics as the sire I would hold them back and breed them back to dad. You may have something but will need to breed to prove it out.
