Cage 3' W x 2' D x 18" H - okay for GTP?
Someone came to us wanting to sell some AP and Boaphile cages for a really good deal. They are 3' wide x 2' deep x 18" high. Is that okay for an adult GTP? We have been thinking about getting one.

That sounds fine. My boaphile for my adult is only 18" tall. The GTPS tend to move side to side more than up and down, so a longer enclosure would probably be better

The width is good. My own GTP is in a 3x2x2. If you go with one that is only 18" high, I would put it on a tall stand or shelf if possible so he is about 5 feet off the floor. They are arboreal after all and will feel more secure if they feel higher up. But I personally do like to give my GTPs more horizontal room than conventionally thought. They thermoregulate better side to side.

I haven't had a Tree Python(yet) but I would turn the cage on it's side to make it 3' tall and 18" wide with several levels of branches to climb.
