So I have a mature normal female, She is about 1550-1600gs on empty. My lesser male is around 550-600g. My plan was to breed these two this season, but since may my lesser has been giving me problems. Since may he has only been eating one or twice a month and small meals. He has the strongest feeding response out of all my ball pythons (sometimes there's a foot or tail on the tongs after he strikes) However if it's a rat 25% or the time he will eat it but he always strikes and constricts it even when he won't eat it. If I give him a mouce half the time I offer he will eat. But still always strikes and constricts. He is my only snake that does this the others won't even look at the food if they don't wanna eat it. Also I brain every rodent for him because he's been such a problem.

Any ways back to the topic. Recently iv noticed him getting a triangle shape and his back bone is easily seen. He has very little fat reserves on his sides. He is around 18 months 2.5-3 feet in length. It's like when he just starts to put fat on he will fast. Can any one help?

Ps his warm hide is 30C his cold side is 26C and he's almost always on the cold side. Humidity is close to 60% and he is in a 32 qt tub on my rack. Sorry at work no pics I'll get se tonight. I just wanna no other ppls opinions if they would try to get a few more feeds in and try to breed. Any help would be appreciated thanx
