Tubbing BP make them more aggressive?
This is what was told to me by someone on FB that breed BPs
tubbing snakes can make them a little more aggressive so if you want a pet to hold stick with a tank and you shouldn't have any problems.
Is this true?

None of my bps are aggressive and i can hold all of them. Theyre all in tubs in a rack.

I would think it really had more to do with the individual snakes personality. Being in a tub doesn't make them aggressive.

I have 8. Started out with tanks and the humidity was horrible. Moved to tubs, and stayed that way for the past 5 or so years. Not once have I experienced tub aggression! He was misinformed.

Aggressive? I don't think there is a such thing when it comes to BPs. That is not an appropriate word at all. Of course I have one older female who does not really like to be handled but she's not aggressive. She's nervous. They can be fearful. Many babies can strike out of fear until they know that hand coming toward them is not going to eat or kill them.. They can strike when in feeding mode because they are hungry and may smell rodent or be honing in on the heat signature coming from the hand coming toward them. Or they can be flighty and hissy like my girl because she doesn't get handled much and is simply voicing her opinion on it, but aggression should never be a BP trait.
What you house them in shouldn't play any role in their demeanor though. It has everything to do with proper heat, humidity, ability to hide, proper food, and handling if you want it to BE a calm pet. If it were possible to provide these things in a cardboard box (that's a joke of course) then your snake would still have the same temperament as it would if it were kept in a tub or a glass aquarium as long as the same requirements were met.
