    Housing question

I have two females I picked up. Both are very young I got them as weather li gs from the pet shop feeder tub to use as future breeders. I separated my females into there own tubs to have their babies and now the males have their own tubs each but I don't have an empty tub for the young females and put them in with one of the males and now I noticed him harassing them. Would it be OK to put them with one of the mommas

Not a good idea to add a new female in with a mother rat with pups. It can end in the death of the new female because the momma is protecting her pups. I wouldn't worry about leaving the new girl in with your male, as long as there is no blood. Some squeaking and scuffling is normal. The rats need to get to know each other.

Sounds like you need more tubs!

Well momma wasn't having any of that so I got another tub for the male now peace and harmony has returned. Also I noticed that my litters have opened their eyes and are eating on the mazuri a little how long till you take them from momma and breed the female again? They were born on the 7 th. Of October.
