    Snake ban within city limits

We have a meeting setup with our local mayor about repealing a 40 year old ban on snake ownership and sales within city limits if the snake is or has potential to grow to 4 feet or longer. I spoke to her about this subject informally a while back and she was very open to possibly amending the law. I have been working with the animal control departments and city code departments of several surrounding counties and have a lot of evidence and information that I think could lead to the repeal of this law. Will keep you posted as things unfold.
