Okay so i've had my adult female precious for a year now and everything has gone awesome. I enjoyed her so much I had to go out and get another one. This time a male however he was not properly taken care of. Went and drove about 30 minutes away to go buy him - can't think of a name. They had him in a just big enough tank (cool) however told me they were feeding him pinkie mice! From what i've read and learn, you are supposed to feed about the width of the biggest part of there body which is way thicker than 1 pinkie mouse a week!! On top of this they had him in sand!! Because they had him in sand his enclosure was so dry his eyes were retained. I asked him why his eyes looked like that and he told me they always did and that it was normal. Of course I knew better. So when I got him home I immediately changed out his bedding for nice and warm aspen and put warm water with him. So now one of his eyes are 100% better and the other is what I think perminantly damaged. It looks like very small chipped glass/crystal. I feel so bad for him but it makes me want him more! His first shed was 100% PERFECT! Now he is eating medium rats.

I'd like to take both of my babies to the vet just to be examined. They are both healthy and mite free and have beautiful scales. How much would a day at the vet cost me for both of them just for them to tell me they're healthy?
