    Not sure what to do...

I don't know who I should pair with my large female bee. I had planned on pairing her with my enchi, but I will be getting my pastel pied soon. I plan on starting to pair late this year so he will have time to pass through quarantine before I start pairing and he's a late 2011 so he should be big enough and old enough to breed.

I'm not really a fan of spieds, I like a bit of pattern to my pieds, but the thought of producing a killer bee 100% het pied is pretty cool. This female has never been bred before. I have 3 bees in my collection because I have been dreaming about an enchi bumblebee for a while. What would you do if you were in my position?

I believe enchi has more potential these days with it being co-dominant and all. I will say that pieds are awesome, dont get me wrong, but they're recessive and that is a drawback of 3 years if it's a slow eating female het, then you have to try and hit it. Yeah, go with enchi

    Oh Wow, Tough Call...

I don't really care for spieds either so I would go with the enchi this year. But down the road you have got to go for the killer bee enchi pied. That would be an amazing animal especially with the enchi bringing pattern back into the pied.

You have the ingredients just have to mix them up the right way. Good Luck Kinra.

That sounds like an awesome project that actually makes me want to take my pied to the bumblebee this year. If I got a female from the pairing I could hold her back and then in about 2 years take my pastel pied to my pastel enchi holdback from this year and hopefully get a nice male I could breed to the female.

But I wanted to take my enchi to my bumblebee for a male enchi bumblebee that I could then bred to my pastel calico female. I have too many projects I want to do I can't decide what to do first.

I know I am the same way too many projects not enough snakes. BPs are like LAYS Chips you can't just have one. LOL

Just go with the one that you think will satisfy you the most and get your collection to where you want it to be. Good Luck and don't forget about me when you have some awesome het pieds available.

I really think I'm going to do pastel pied X bumblebee this year. Enchi combos are hot, but I got my pastel enchi this year and the only 100% het pied female I have is just a het pied, nothing special going on there. I am hoping my pastel yellowbelly will prove out to be het pied for me so I can get some cool pieds this season.
