    I think 48 hours is plenty...but it may depend on the size of the meal. If he had a large lump after eating, then it may take longer to digest. You definitely want to err on the side of caution with this one.

    For my bp's, it depends. One of them I can hold him within 24 hours, without any problems, the other 2 it varies... usually 48-72 hours. I just watch them and take my cue from them.
