I left these two together Monday thru Wednesday because I had off and figured I could check on them every once in a while. My 0.1 Pastel immediately started tail wagging through the entire 41qt tub. They just laid inter-twinded for three days.... tails right along side each other (first pic). Wednesday afternoon I seperated them for about 6 hours and fed them both a small rat and then gave them a few hours before I put them back together. Today I had to work, so I just left them together just in case they decided to get "busy". My house is also always at 82F.... FL.... so I just turned the T-stat off for today.
I just came home to THIS!! Maybe a little meal or the temp drop kick started them? The first lock is so darn exciting. My 2010, 0.1 Pastel virgin (1385g) and my 2006, 1.0 Pied (1825g- and off a kinda crutty shed as you can see). I'm on my way. Here's to hoping for a little 1.0 Pastel 100% Het Pied to breed to my other 0.1 Pied next year. Pastel Pieds next year anyone??
