    Wondering about orange ghost mojave

I picked up an orange ghost from NERD at the Tinley Park show this past weekend. Beautiful snake, but I'm a little confused on how to go about making some orange ghost mojaves, or orange ghost pastel mojave. I can't just simply pair it up with a pastave or mojave and get the ghost version correct? Would I have to also have a mojave het orange ghost or a mojave orange ghost? Or a pastel orange ghost or pastel het orange ghost? Both snakes must have the orange ghost gene for a visual result right? Or am I completely wrong?

You are correct. Your mojave has to be het for OG or be an OG Mojo in order to pair it with another OG to make visual OG Mojos...

Okay, thats what I thought but wasn't exactly sure. Thanks for the reply. I still want to make orange ghost mojave but I jumped the gun on buying the orange ghost without really understanding that is what I would have to do. I guess I 'll have to raise her up for awhile and then get myself a male orange ghost mojave to pair up with her. Oh well, thats what you get when you impulse buy.

Its not a bad move... At least its a female. Raise her up and buy a mojo het OG and produce OGs, Mojo OGs, and hets!

Yeah you are probably right. I'll do some research and consider bigger possibilities before deciding on a mate.

Has orange ghost been tapped into yet? I know things have been done, but has anything really been attempted extensively? Like maybe clown orange ghost, or pastel clown orange ghost?

Those are amazing. It makes me wonder why I don't see more of these around. I never really paid attention to the hypos before now and they are stunning snakes. If you don't mind me asking, how much do your hypo mojaves sell for? I would like to set myself up for producing some orange ghost somethings. PM me if you don't want to answer here.
